Leah grew up in Parksville, BC and developed a great love for animals both wild and domestic during that time. After finishing her undergraduate degree at UBC she decided to combine her interests in animal biology and medicine and pursue a career as a veterinarian.
Four years later she graduated with distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, SK, and then promptly moved home to Vancouver Island to begin her career. Leah gained two years of experience as a small animal private practitioner in Parksville, then decided to move south to enjoy the many amenities and beautiful outdoor spaces that Victoria has to offer.
On her days off you'll find her walking her dog Pippa on the local trails, enjoying time with friends and family or sitting on the beach with a good book.
